Splendid very large 6 inch semi-double blooms in colors of reds, yellows, whites, oranges, pinks, and purples are displayed on graceful long stems. Wonderful in flower beds, borders, and rock gardens. Great in cut flower arrangements. Unique flat petaled variety. Plants are easy to grow. Blooms from summer to fall. Dates back to the early 1900s. A favorite!
Sowing: Direct sow seeds in spring after danger of frost through early summer 1/8 of an inch deep in well drained soil amended with compost in full sun. Cover lightly. Keep soil damp until germination. Or start indoors 6 weeks before transplant.
