One of the best large bell peppers, plants produce high yields of glossy green thick walled fruit which ripens to bright crimson red at maturity. It is mostly 4 lobed averaging 4 1/2 by 4 inches. The thick crispy flesh has a mild and pleasant flavor. It is wonderful at either the green or red stage. It is excellent eaten fresh, in salads, cooking, in soup, and stuffed, in casseroles and more. High in vitamin A and C. Vigorous upright plants. It is disease resistant and tolerant to tobacco mosaic virus. Does well in cooler climates. Tender, sweet and juicy. An excellent variety to plant in your garden.
Sowing: Sow inside 1/4 of an inch deep 8 weeks prior to transplanting outside. Keep moist during germination. Planting or transplanting in 2 inch containers will produce larger plants with better roots. Harden off young plants. Transplant outside after last frost when the weather and soil is warm. Ideally seedlings will have buds but no open flowers.

Information: Harvest regularly for maximum yield. Mulching is recommended to preserve moisture and help reduce weeds. Feed lightly every 4 weeks. Cannot tolerate frost.
