This is the most winter hardy bunching onion. If your winters are severe than this is the bunching onion variety to grow. Has high resistance to freezing and can be left in the ground all year round. Little or no bulbing. Sow in spring for summer use and sow in the fall for over wintering. Once established it only needs occasional division. First class, excellent perennial bunching onion! A wonderful choice!
Sowing: Sow in early spring for summer use and in July or August for fall and spring use. Direct sow 1/2 inch deep. Keep moist during germination.
