Lovely large 4-6 inch fragrant white trumpet shaped flowers bloom on a vigorous beautiful vine. The large white blooms appear to illuminate the garden, opening at dusk and remaining open all night until the sun rises. Planted near a porch or deck it’s exceptional fragrance permeates the air adding to the beauty. Vigorous vines grow quickly and are good for trellises, hanging baskets, fences, or walls. Moon flowers are relatively easy to grow and it makes a lovely addition to any garden.
Sowing: Can be started indoors 6-8 weeks early or outside when the soil stays warm in the spring sowing the seeds 1/2 of an inch deep. It is recommended to lightly nick the seed’s outer shell and then soak overnight in warm water and plant them the following day. Plant in full sun to partial sun.
