Lettuce – Mesclun Mix

A wonderful selection of gourmet greens of lettuce, arugula, kale, mustard, and endive that are excellent together. A diverse selection that mix together perfectly. Delicious mix of leaves that are wonderful in salads, and sandwiches, as well as being nutritious. A delightful mix to add to your garden and table.
Sowing: Direct sow as early in the spring as the soil can be worked covering seed barely about 1/8 of an inch firming soil gently. Keep moist during germination. Mesclun mix is a cool weather crop. Can also be sown in the late summer for a fall crop.
Germination: 2-15 days Spacing: 3-4 inches Days to maturity: 34-45 days Moisture: Provide plenty of moisture
Soil: Light, fertile, moist, well drained soil. Light: Full sun (at least 6 hours a day)
Information: Begin harvesting in about 3 weeks by clipping with scissors. Cut leaves 1-2 inches above soil. Most plants in the mix will regrow.
