Sowing: Direct sow as early as the soil can be worked covering seed barely about 1/8 of an inch firming soil gently. Can be sown 3-4 weeks before planting outside. Transplants can survive temperatures as low as 20 degrees F. Keep moist during germination.
Germination: 5-10 days Spacing: Space plants 8 inches apart. Space rows 12-18 inches apart. Days to maturity: 28 for baby, 46 for full size. Moisture: Plenty of moisture Soil: Rich well drained soil Light: Full sun (at least 6 hours a day)
