Baby’s Breath Covent Garden’s pure white flowers and gray green foliage go perfectly together. Sitting atop it’s long stems the elegant white flowers make a wonderful compliment to fresh cut bouquets and dried flower arrangements. Flowers are good for cutting, drying, and preserving. It is a charming addition in the garden, xeriscaping, as well as in containers, and along a walkway. Drought tolerant. Can be succession grown every two weeks from the beginning of the season. A lovely addition to your garden.
Sowing: Direct sow seeds after danger of frost. Surface rake. Do not cover or barely cover, as it needs light to germinate. Likes full sun to partial shade. Does best in full sun.

Soil: Does well in just about any type of soil. Normal, loamy. Prefers alkaline soil.
Information: Blooms 6 weeks from date of sowing. Cut stems in just before sundown or in late evening after blossoms have opened. Leave 6-12 inches of the stem on the plant just above a leaf joint so plant will produce more blooms. It usually will bloom 3 times a season. Self sows freely. Do not fertilize. This variety is the largest babys breath cultivar.
