One of the easiest wildflowers to grow, Spurred Snapdragon with it’s long lasting flowers in a rainbow of colors of pink, yellow, violet, and white and it’s small lance shaped blue-green leaves is a brilliant addition to mass in beds, borders, meadows, cottage gardens, container baskets, and window baskets. Blooms rapidly.
Sowing: Direct sow seeds in spring after danger of frost (seeds are not winter hardy) in full sun to part shade. Sow 1/8 inch deep. Seeds are small so care needs to be taken not to cover seed too deeply Can also be planted in late summer summer for fall bloom.

Soil: moist well drained. Since it is native to Africa it prefers loose sandy soil. Tolerates average soil if it is well drained
Information: Native to Morocco. Flowers bloom spring to fall in cool climates but usually stop blooming in the heat of summer in hot climates. Cut back after initial flowering to encourage aditional blooms. Will self seed.
Caution: Parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested.
