Dark Green Italian Parsley is an attractive plant with tasty leaves that are used to flavor a wide variety of Italian and other ethnic recipes. Best tasting variety, it is good used in salads, soups, sauces, stews, and stuffing. It can be used fresh and dried. Dark Green Italian Parsley is easy to grow year around indoors and out. Good as a garden edging or even in a flower garden. It is also good in window boxes and containers. Can be planted in a sunny window Also a wonderful garnish. Wonderful variety for drying. It’s flavor compliments almost every dish.
Sowing: Before sowing soak the seeds in water over night to prior to planting to hasten germination. Sow seeds indoors 10-12 weeks before the last spring frost. Transplant to the garden shortly before the last frost date. Or sow outdoors in early spring 1-2 weeks before last frost date. Plant 1/8 of an inch deep in fine soil. Plant in full sun to partial sun in well drained soil. Can also be grown indoors.

Care information: Harvest larger sprigs of the parsley off the plants as they mature. The plants are quite cold hardy and can often be harvested into the winter. Leaves may be cut all season as needed. To store, dry thouroughly and place in airtight containers.
