Dramatic spikes are covered with beautiful flowers in colors of blue, pink, peach, red, burgundy, and brown with a honey like fragrance. Attractive shiny green palm shaped leaves. Attractive to humming birds, butterflies and bees. Hardy. A lovely garden variety!
Sowing: Soak seeds for 24 hours then direct sow in the spring after danger of frost 1/2 inch deep, in full sun or part shade in well drained soil. Keep well watered. Can also be sown outdoors in the fall.
