Beautiful dainty sky blue flowers with a yellow center on small plants with 1-2 inch long leaves. Excellent in rock gardens, flower edges, borders, and masses, ground cover, walkways, and shady to sunny areas. Very popular variety that will spread freely once established. An excellent choice!
Sowing: Start indoors 8-10 weeks before planting outdoors in the spring or Direct sow on to prepared ground in the spring when only a light frost is still possible, planting 1/8-1/4 of an inch deep in well drained soil in full shade to full sun. Can also be sown in the fall.
Height: 6-12 inches tall Spacing: 3 inch spacing, plants do not mind crowding. Blooms: Spring-Summer
Germination: 7-14 days Moisture: Keep evenly moist. Do not allow to dry out. Light: Full sun to almost full shade
Soil: rich soil with plenty of organic matter, well drained. Zones: 3-9
Information: To encourage longer bloom time remove faded flowers.
