Classic standard, famous for quality and flavor. 7 inch ears that are packed with 10-14 rows of sweet, plump, tender golden kernels. Very good heirloom yellow sweet corn. Excellent for eating fresh, canning, and freezing. One of the really outstanding older garden varieties of corn. Resistant to wilt. Rich in vitamin A, B, and C. Open Pollinated.
Sowing: Plant in full sun outdoors in spring after all danger of frost and soil is warm. Sow seeds 1 to 1 1/2 inch deep in moist well drained soil. Keep seedbed moderately moist during germination.If started indoors first, transplant when 2-3 inches in height.
