This dainty plant with it’s profusion of beautiful scarlet dark red flowers and brilliant red yellowish centers makes Dwarf red plains a striking addition. It is hardy and easy to grow from seed through much of North America. It is long blooming. An ideal variety for mass plantings or as an accent in the garden. Good for flower gardens, meadows, roadsides, & ditches. Attracts bees, butterflies, and birds. Reseeds itself freely.
Sowing: Plant seed 1/16 of an inch deep in full to part sun after danger of frost. Blooms in approximately 70 days.

Moisture: Water regularly, do not overwater, requires consistently moist soil, do not let dry out between waterings. Light: Full to part sun
Care: It will continue to bloom as long as adequate water moisture is available. Dead head if you don’t want volunteer seedlings next spring.
