Beautiful wonderfully fragrant small daisy-like white flowers with a yellow cone center on long, graceful 12-30 inch plants with light green stems. Flowers both fresh and dried are used to make a soothing mild tasting wonderful tea. It also is used for a number of medicinal purposes. Drying the flowers enhances the sweet apple fragrance. Makes a wonderful addition to a flower garden, herb garden, and mass plantings. Drought tolerant. Extremely hardy once it is established. An excellent addition to the garden!
Sowing: Direct sow in the spring as soon as the soil can be worked, or start inside 10 weeks before the last frost. Press seeds onto soil surface. Seeds need light to germinate. Keep moderately moist while germinating. Can also be sown direct outside in the fall. Seeds sown in the fall will germinate the following spring. Plant prefers full sun but will tolerate some shade. Transplant after danger of frost, when plants are 2 inches in height.

Care information: Harvest the flowers when they are in full bloom. Keep flowers cut back to encourage new growth. Store flowers in an airtight container in a cool dry place. Plant self sows freely.
